- Last night The Girl mentioned she had no gas in her car. So, I went out and filled her car up. Not only is it the nicest I’ve ever done, I’m pretty sure it’s the nicest thing anyone has ever done for anyone.
- I watched about twenty minutes of Babel every day over the past ten days or so. I finished it last night. I liked it and I’m now recommending that all movies be shown in annoying increments instead of all at once. As expected, young Hollywood is up in arms about the idea.

Who was the first US President to appoint a woman as his presidential physician? Presidential physician may not be the correct technical term but hopefully the question still makes sense.
