Moosejaw Daily Madness

Ours was a ragged group. Scrappy kids from Saline, Goshen, Ocala, Evergreen, Idaho Springs, Kiev, Ottowa, Santiago and Ankara. We never claimed to be polished or sexy although we were sexy. We were gritty and fun. We were fast and wonderful with a comb, a bat and a glove. But, it was not to be this year. Last night we faced a team of ringers…it was like going to a beauty contest and seeing Fabio and Hasselhoff. It was like going to the aquarium and seeing fish. It was like going to the moon and seeing fourteen rocks. We lost.
